Frontend
Application Architect
I architect and deliver production-grade frontend applications — greenfield builds, legacy modernizations, and everything in between. I bring structure to complexity: scalable component systems, clear API contracts, and frontend patterns that teams can build on confidently.
I operate at every level of the stack — from hands-on development to leading teams, partnering with BAs to close requirements gaps, and driving UX decisions that hold up under real-world use.
My work spans multi-million dollar warehouse automation platforms, government-funded education systems, and SaaS products used by tens of thousands of users. On time. On budget. Every time.

About Me

I‘m Mario Giambanco — a frontend architect with 25 years of experience across the full breadth of the web stack. My roots are in systems administration and infrastructure, which gives me a practical, end-to-end perspective that most frontend engineers don‘t have. Over the last decade I‘ve narrowed my focus to frontend architecture, with Angular as my primary framework and a growing body of React work, including this site.
I‘ve led teams, defined frontend standards, built reusable component frameworks from scratch, and modernized applications that hadn‘t been touched in years. I know how to make technical decisions that the next engineer can understand and build on.
Based in the Tampa Bay area, FL. Married, 5 dogs, 4 cats. When I‘m not in front of a screen, you‘ll find me by the pool, on the beach, or deep in a 3D modeling project. Happy to talk tech, cars, Formula 1, or anything in between.
